One Community Bank Hosts Annual Free Community Event: Badger Tailgate
One Community Bank is proud to serve our clients, support our colleagues, and invest in our communities. OCB held its sixth annual Badger Tailgate at our Waunakee location on Saturday, September 26. There was an amazing turnout of clients, community members, and colleagues.
“We had an amazing turnout with over 1,100 people attending our Badger Tailgate, while also celebrating our 10-year anniversary in Waunakee. It’s always great to see our community come together to cheer for the Badgers and enjoy some great food, entertainment, and family time. Go Badgers!” said Chris Zellner, Market President at One Community Bank – Waunakee.
Guests enjoyed a family friendly event featuring free beverages and fresh grilled food. The event was filled with Badger pride, and a special appearance from Bucky Badger who joined in on the fun too. The first 100 guests received complimentary shirts from OCB. The game was live streamed on a jumbotron provided by Bishops Bay. Kids enjoyed balloon art, glitter tattoos, a coloring station, and other activities.

The event collected donations for the Waunakee Student Financial Assistance Fund and the Waunakee Early Childhood Fund. One Community Bank will also donate $500 to each organization. The Waunakee Student Financial Assistance Fund is committed to ensuring that all students can participate in their school communities regardless of their family’s financial situation. The Waunakee Early Childhood Fund is dedicated to addressing financial challenges that affect teacher retention and the quality of early childhood education in Waunakee.
