Dr. Katie Schmitt becomes an Alumna of One Community Bank’s Advisory Board
One Community Bank is proud to recognize Dr. Katie Schmitt as she concludes her time on the OCB Advisory Board. Katie’s insight, leadership, and authentic engagement have helped shape the board and positively impact the clients and communities we serve.
“I really enjoyed my time on the OCB Advisory Board. There are so many positives that came from this experience for me, from the people I met to the content we discussed.” said Katie Schmitt. “I felt that my input was valued and that I was able to contribute towards OCB’s mission and goals.”
Throughout her time on the advisory board, Katie brought a thoughtful, compassionate voice to the board, drawing from her professional expertise as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and her deep commitment to mental health advocacy. Her collaborative nature helped foster meaningful dialogue around OCB’s role in serving clients and communities.
“Katie has been a tremendous asset to our advisory board,” said Steve Peotter, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Her thoughtful leadership and genuine care for our colleagues and OCB’s values have left a lasting impression on our organization. We are grateful for her contributions and are happy to welcome her as an advisory board alumna.”

In recognition of Katie’s contributions, One Community Bank has made a $1,000 donation to Gio’s Garden, Middleton WI, an organization Katie has chosen. OCB is proud to celebrate Katie’s service on the advisory board by supporting an organization of her choice, furthering our shared commitment to creating lasting, positive change in the communities we serve.
